  • 09 Mar 12 - There will be a charity blind pairs competition at Bishops Caundle Football Club on Saturday 28th April in aid of Julias House. Draw at 8pm, entry fee £2.00. Donations and raffle prizes very welcome. Trophies for first and second places.

  • 24 Feb 12 - Andy Crane and Al Ayres are hoping to start a money league in April based in Stur RBL Club on a Friday evening. Entry will be £5 per person plus £2.50 per game.   • 18 Feb 12 - There are several matches that need to be played to complete the Winter League. Please play them as soon as possible. Also please ensure you understand the league rules in the event of games not being played on time.
  • 05 Feb 12 - On 2nd Feb a rearranged match was played between Arms Oldies and Straight A's. Arms Oldies only had 3 players and in accordance with Rule 11 of the league rules should have forfeited a throw in the 1001 and one of the Pairs games and one of the Singles legs, This was not done and one of their players played twice in the 1001, played in two Pairs games and two Singles games. To that end the 1001 game that they won will now be awarded to Straight A's, The second Pairs game that they lost will stay as it is but will be considered a 2-0 loss rather than a 2-1 loss, and the Singles game will be considered a 2-0 loss rather than a 2-0 win. This means the overall score for the match is 4-3 to the Arms Oldies rather than 6-1. Details of this match will appear on next weeks league table dated 07 Feb 12.   • 04 Feb 12 - A good night in the Crown, Marnhull last night, won by Dean Walters beating Phil Parsons in the final. Thanks to the Andy, Anna and the staff in the Crown for organising it.
  • 20 Jan 12 - The Crown at Marnhull are running another darts comp on Friday 3rd Feb.

  • 07 Jan 12 - Well done to Dave Costick for beating Alan Ayres in the final at Marnhull last night. Details of another competition in Feb to follow.
  • 04 Jan 12 - The Crown at Marnhull are hoping to enter a team in the league next season and are running a darts comp on Friday, entry is £5 with all the entry fees being split between 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Registration at 8pm start at 8.30 usual league format of 501 double in and out.
    Please support them if you can and spread the word to anyone else who might be interested.
  • 18 Nov 11 - Cancelled Games to be played, Div1 - Fiddlers v Royal Oak A and Div 2 - BMV B v Exiles. Both from 04/10/11. Please play them as soon as possible please.

Due to Blackmore Vale A being unable to fill a team, we have no choice but to exclude them from the 2011-2012 season. So any teams having points from games with them will be deducted. As from this point number 5 on your fixture list will be a bye. Sorry for any inconvenience.
